Editorial Reviews

Call it post-post-punk: the best parts of '90s acts like Jawbox and Quicksand updated with a modern melodic edge... If you're looking for unique post-punk that's as challenging as it is rocking, look no further. 4 out of 5. - AP Magazine - May 2004

5.0 out of 5 stars Another amazing addition to indie, May 8, 2004

Wow. I can't believe how good these guys are. I first found them when i was browsing purevolume.com and i was immediatly hooked. They're a perfect blend of indie/emo/ and post hardcore. They reminded me of Sparta a little and i love sparta so i naturally liked these guys. The lyrics are astounding and the music is anthemic, catchy, and creative. These guys truly understand music and make it happen to the fullest extent. A must buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, March 23, 2004
This review is from: Method Fail Repeat (Audio CD)
A buddy of mine got a copy of this and I borrowed it and have NOT given it back. This CD is awesome, not one song is a skipper. It reminds me of the Dischord sound, bands like Jawbox or Fugazi even, but with more of a Drive like Jehu tinge to it,
without all the screaming. Fave tracks for me are "Width of a straw" and "Retrograde". I like the singer's voice a lot and I also like how the songs are very Bass-driven, as opposed to guitar-driven. I hope these guys come to New York soon, I'm hurtin to see a good band like this Live!! I'm sold.
