This is a piece of acting history, verbatim lectures presented by Robert Lewis from the 1950's for students of "method acting". Lewis was an actor and director as well as a student and colleague of Stella Adler, the extraordinary woman who introduced "the method" to America. It improved my understanding of just what "the method" is.
