Love it, love it,

I own a cleaning company, and I use as much Method stuff as possible (see review of tub & tile cleaner). I do LOVE this glass cleaner. If you're getting any streaks, use a microfiber cloth (the glass-specific one Method makes is great also) or, even better, a coffee filter. I've never tried using this with a paper towel or anything else, so maybe that's where the streaking comes into play. I love the minty smell, and so do my customers.
I have to say, the best thing ever to clean glass is plain, ol rubbing alcohol and paper towels, but the smell isn't that attractive (even though it is completely streak free and very cost-effective). Sometimes I will clean with the alcohol and then run over it quickly with a microfiber cloth sprayed with this Method cleaner so it smells great.

On January 22, 2009 I wrote the following:
This is a fabulous product. I had been using the "name brand" blue window cleaner and wanted to switch to an eco-friendly product, so I picked Method's Glass Cleaner. Initially, I sprayed the same amount of cleaner on my windows and glass-topped tables. Way too much! It appears that I need about 50% less product to produce crystal clear, steak-free glass. Saving the environment just a bit means saving money with this product. It works better than the name brand and smells great! I have used 48 bottles of Method Window Cleaner since then. The first 40 were fabulous. Then between my order of November 2010 and my next order in May, 2011 Method changed its formulation. Streaks beyond my imagination! The new formila does not clean! I bought a bottle of Windex -- my old brand -- and my tables and windows were clean again. Then I found a part bottle of the old formulation in a car and brought it in to clean my glass topped table that was streaking with the new formulation. Clean, streak-free glass again! Whatever Method did in re-formulation has changed this product from 5 star to one star. Until Method goes back to the old formulation, I would avoid this product.

The BEST smelling window cleaner,
This review is from: Method Window Wash Glass & Surface Cleaner, Mint, 28-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 8) (Health and Beauty)
After trying many Method products, I've come to realize that some are so-so while others are fantastic. The Method Window Wash Glass and Surface Cleaner falls under the 'fantastic' category. I truly love this product. It smells great and I haven't had any more problems with streaking than Windex. I usually use crumpled newspaper to clean my windows and mirrors, and they are streak free 99% of the time. I have slowly been switching all of my household cleaners over to more natural and less harmful products so I am very happy that I found this window cleaner.

I hate to buck the prevailing tide; however, I must be honest. This is NOT one of Method's great products: it just doesn't clean without several "go-overs" ...and it didn't matter what kind of a cloth or paper I used. I have several glass-topped tables in my home and it is now taking me double the time--and rubbing effort--to clean them. I have used paper towels, micro-cloths (which should not be used with anything but water), and turkish towels or bar cloths. I have exhausted myself "polishing" my tables, mirrors and windows, only to have to go over them yet again. Don't even think about using it on car windows; it is not a pretty sight! I do love the fragrance; it just isn't enough to compensate for the lack of cleaning power. I have canceled my product subscription and I am currently handing out the remaining bottles to friends and family with the warning that it doesn't clean well, but it smells great!
Nearly forgot to mention the sprayer. My first bottle of window cleaner is now sporting an old Windex sprayer since the one Method uses gave out when the bottle was 1/3 gone. Oh..., and the second bottle I started on before finding my old bottle of Windex--same sprayer problem. P.S. I do love some of the other Method products; however, not this one.

Method Glass Cleaner Cleans and Smells Great!,

You'll love this glass cleaner. It has a special drying agent in it that means you won't use too many paper towels when you spray it on. Cleans well and smells 100 times nicer than any ammonia scented cleaner!

This is a great cleaning product! The first mistake I made was using too much, making my windows streaky. I quickly learned the issue was that I only needed to use a little bit.... I've started using it not just on glass, but on counters and everything else too...cleans beautifully, lovely mint scent, and really doesn't feel like it leaves a residue. Great stuff!

the green method......,

I have been slowing switching all of my families cleaning products over to Method products. They clean well, have nice, fresh scents instead of choke worthy chemical scents in most "toxic" cleaners, and come in very mod, clean line, eco friendly packaging. Method has made it easy being green.
Love the minty fresh smell of the glass cleaner. I've used this product successfully on windows, but it's a great microwave cleaner, and all purpose cleaner as well. It cleaned my old formica table and countertops great. So try it out in other uses for yourself. 5 stars.

Trying to go green and use earth friendly things. So I thought I'd try this window cleaner. UPS delievered it yesterday and I started cleaning shortly after. Works great! I started on the outside windows as those are the dirtiest. This stuff even cleaned the white caulk around our replacement windows. I don't have streaks and I used cheap paper towels.
The bottle is made from 100% recycled bottles. Oh and the smell...to me it smells just like Scope mouthwash. I would highly recommend Method Window Cleaner. I'm going to try their furniture polish next.

This is a very easy review for me to write. Method's glass cleaner cleans just as well as Windex, or anything else, but it smells so much better. It smells of mint, not of chemicals, which makes it much more pleasant to use. You won't get caught in a cloud of fumes with this spray. You won't have to worry about breathing too deeply when you clean, and your windows will still look fabulous. I use this spray both on my indoor windows and on my car's windshield/dashboard, and it cleans both beautifully. If you use it in the car, the bonus is that you don't need an air freshener- you get a slight, but very natural mint scent that lingers.

This product cleans well - works well on monitor and TV screens. It has a pleasant mint scent (rather strong for the first minute or so, then fades) which, for me, is an added advantage - I have a couple of tom cats that spray anything and everything they can reach - including my monitor. They apparently don't like the scent of this cleaner - they haven't sprayed my monitor since I started using this. I haven't tried a quick spritz in other areas yet - but this works better than any of the "cat away" products I've tried.
