Indispensable for advaita buffs!,

This review is from: Methods of Knowledge According to Advaita Vendanta (Hardcover)
This is a book about epiestemology of advaita vedanta however let that introduction not discourage you from reading it. This is an eminently readble book without compromizing on authenticity.
Lucid explanations of abstruse advaitic concepts would interest a beginner and a scholar alike. It also explains the differences between Advaita and other branches of Indian Philosophy. Everything is set out in point by point explanation. Don't bother to purchase it through Amazon, though. You can get the hard bound new copy at about $1 from publishers Motilal Banarasidass of Bombay.

In response to the other review... better yet, order the book from your local Vedantic Society.
This book has many valuable methods illustrated for use in un-earthing the knowledge within your own being. |
