4.0 out of 5 stars Not original, but It goes with the flow of 2000., January 22, 2000

Tommy Lee has jumped the ship of Motley Crue and leaped into the millenium of hip-hop/metal/rap stage of music. While he's not exactly the first to jump out of the closet of the 80's metal scene, he does it with authority! With the exception of two or three songs, Tommy Lee and Tilo rock their assortment of metal/hip-hop songs with true aggression, as shown on "Anger Management" and "Who The Hell Cares". It's not really anything new, but who knows? These guys just might actually bring us something that we have'nt heard in the year 2001!

Great CD! I think MOM capture a great mix of funk-rap with heavy guitars and a lot of attitude. So if you are into Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Nine Inch Nails or Dr. Dre you'll have one more to ad to your collection...Methods Of Mayhem!

Cool Cd! At first I thought how could he but after a couple of spins I dug it. If Motley's last release is any indication of the future i'll stick with Tommy. Keep the guitars rockin' like Crash and I see a winner. Less rap more Rock man!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome CD, June 19, 2000

This CD is one of the best I have ever heard. It is a mix of some rap lyrics and excellent heavy guitars. The best songs are hypocritical, anger managment, get naked, new skin, crash and metamorphasis. Get this CD because you are missing out if you don't.

I expected very little of this release, but must say it is brilliant! Tommy Lee's best songs are #4-9, with more metal than rap. A great cd...very surprising to me. Good stuff!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tommy Rocks, April 17, 2000
This review is from: Methods of Mayhem (Audio CD)
I got this CD when it frist came out and it is still rocken in my car. This CD was amazing and a little bit of a surprize considering Tommy Lee is the lead man in this band but he actually delivers some good vocals and with all the help he got from his supporting cast they made a winner here folks. If you like hard rock with some rap thrown in get this CD, it dose not dissapoint.

5.0 out of 5 stars I wanna tattoo MoM on me!, April 2, 2000

The previous review, from that kid in Georgia, really showed what a sheltered life and bland ear he has for good music. He needs to open up to some "new-age" music. Double-influence (even triple+) music is the new genre in pop music. Methods of Mayhem's new album (rock & hip hop's love child) made the earth move when I first heard it! The complimentary music video for "Get Naked" was great, and shocking, when it started to play real loud on my computer at work. I wish all the new audio CD albums would have music videos and clips. It has a good PR-feel to it. Methods of Mayhem is a hot, yummy, un-PC, great beat album in my library. Thank you, Tommy Lee!
