I only wish I had purchased a bigger board since this once does not have a ton of holds -- can't blame that on the product though.

Very good texture, great for forearm training

I bought this a couple weeks ago and really like it. The texture is good (I'm no expert, but it seems good to me). It's held up well, although the wall has creaked some when I get on it. Can't really blame the board for this, but be careful to do a good job on the install. Also, I'm about 275lbs so if it can hold me it will probably hold most people.

I've been doing this 10 min at a time or so a couple days a week and I can really notice a difference in my forearms. You can do some bicep training and ab work with it too, but forearms and grip strength is really where it excels.

Expectations Exceeded

I purchased one based on the image of the "Light Green/Green Swirl" color hangboard not being too excited about the other colors. The color I received was nothing like the picture (it is just light green with the swirl as seen on other boards) but I am actually happy with it.

The board hangs nicely into the wall, although it's a permanent fixture like many other reviewers have noted. I only wish I had purchased a bigger board since this once does not have a ton of holds -- can't blame that on the product though. This one is excellent still for forearm strength training and finger strength as well! Highly recommended.

Everything it promised to be. Very simple to install (I attached it to the door header). I was very pleased with how sturdy it is. I am 6'2 and weigh 250 pounds and have had no problems. Most other chin-up bars bend under my weight. Great product!

Good for the garage
