Easy installation, Included screws are a poor choice.,

Installation is pretty straight forward as long as you have a flat panel to mount these to.
Before you start ripping your panels off, check to see if you have a 1/4" thin-wall socket that will fit inside the adapter. I have 3 sets of sockets, none of which would fit inside the countersunk portion adapter to be able to tighten the screws provided. Luckily I have a ton of screws laying around so I just used some "+" screws I had laying around instead. I have no idea why they don't provide you with those in the first place rather than the 1/4 head ones. I would buy these again even though they are not extremely high quality you could paint them or cover them with something to match your interior pretty easily if you don't like the rough black look. Personally, I just wanted to be able to roll my windows all the way down again and have music to listen to. |
