opening on this thing is to small to fit an aftermarket stereo! what where these people thinking when making this?? waste of money

The opening is about an 1/8" too small from left to right, and about 1/16" too small from top to bottom.

I bought this for a Dual XHD 7714 DIN Radio. I am going to have to trim the opening to have any chance of opening the radio's faceplate to get a CD in. I guess somebody forgot to standardize car radios.
