Headlight is also easily removed to use a flashlight.

This thing is really bright and throws pretty far, pedestrians walking ahead in the same direction notice and move aside.

I also love that they are mini-usb rechargeable- I can plug in to any USB port and they charge quickly.

This seems 4 times brighter than other LED lights I've been using, and has more modes and brightness levels. Both lights are easy to mount on various thickness handlebars or posts (and remove quickly so I don't have to leave them on my bike for thieves). Nice rechargeable batteries from USB connection (indicator lights show when the two lights are fully charged); includes one USB cable (to charge one device at a time). Water resistance is nice (I don't want to ride in the dark when it rains unexpectedly), make sure you seal the USB port tightly when it rains.

I wish they had an instruction sheet (not just the side of the small box); to say how to use all the modes. I would rather have spent 2 minutes reading instructions, than 10 minutes figuring out how to use all the nice features. (some of the basics: You press the button to toggle between modes, a long press powers the unit off, The light returns to the mode last used when powered back on; indicator light flashes while charging, and solid on when fully charged.

There are four brightness levels for constant-on; I use the brighter levels for faster speeds when I need to see very far ahead to respond in time to obstacles or broken glass, or when traveling where there are many competing bright lights from heavy car traffic and city lights.

Having a flashing headlight on your bike is nothing short of amazing in terms of the road manners of most people
driving cars and my visibility on a bike.

After I fully charged the duo, I mounted them and went for a ride.

While doing barely 1 mph on my bike and fiddling with my pedals to make sure I was ready for another sprint, I arrived
at a T junction where a girl stopped her car at the junction; She was waiting for me to pass by. It was only when
I looked up and realized that she was still watching and waiting well over 15 seconds for someone who was 30 ft away from her,
and barely moving, did I realize the effectiveness of the "day lightening" mode. And I called out to say, "go ahead."

After I got going, I caught up with her fairly quickly as this was winding, coastal road with a 25 mph limit and humpback whales
breaching the azure waters not more than 100 yards off the coast. Therefore she wasn't flying down the road and I got up to speed in no time.

I got to her bumper and was to her right, after a block of riding in that area and realizing her unwillingness (or inability to see me)
to give me space, I rode out towards the center of the road so that she would see me - sure enough, it worked and she pulled to the
left, giving me a wide berth and let me pass unhindered - to continue trying to beat my personal record for another segment on my Strava App.

I think this is a fantastic purchase! The brightness is more than enough and maybe when I take my cross bike off road, I may need another
light, in which case I might upgrade to the metro 500 or an expillion or just get another metro 360...TBD.

Excellent lights. I've received so many (positive) comments on how bright the rear light is; it's obvious that with that light on people notice you. The rear light seems to last forever between charges (I've ridden a couple of entire days with it on without needing to recharge).

The only (small) issue I have is with the mount of the headlamp which is too large for both bike handlebars I've used it on. That's easily solved with some packing, but it would be good if that came with the light.

By the way, some others have commented on the fact that the light doesn't "remember" the setting you last used (bright, dim, flashing, etc.). In fact it DOES remember. You just have to turn it off properly, i.e. hold the off button down until the light gives a little flash, then release. That way, your setting is remembered and next time you turn it on it will be at the setting you last used.

I'm very pleased with this product. I bought this set to replace an old Cyglo system with the large NiCad water bottle-sized battery and the metal halide lightbulbs. The old system still works after 7 years, so I put it on my kid's bike.

The new system is so compact, I'm amazed that the battery is built into the devices. The 360 plenty powerful for the street riding I do.

I typically ride during the day on weekends and near dusk on weekdays. I use the SteadyPulse setting on the headlight in both situations. The flickering definitely gets driver's attention. To me it replicates what you see with an oncoming motorcycle where a rough suspension causes the light to flicker. However it does it, I know oncoming drivers have noticed me at least a block away.

I used the taillight on one of the flashing modes. It's bright enough to dazzle your eyes, so I avoid looking at it, but if I look back, I can clearly see it reflecting off the ground and cars parked on the street.

I've been riding with these for several months now and don't expect any problems. Very pleased!
