Refreshing!, June 6, 2009
This review is from: Metro Mint Peppermint 500 Ml (Pack Of 6) (Health and Beauty)
MetroMint was an impulse buy for me. I saw some spearmint water, thought it sounded good and got some. I bought the Orangemint too, but have not tried that one yet.
The spearmint water is yummy, but make your lemonade with it instead of plain water and it's out of this world! Making tea with it is scrumptious, too!

A Refreshing Gimmick, May 2, 2010
This review is from: Metro Mint Peppermint 500 Ml (Pack Of 6) (Health and Beauty)
I'll admit that when I saw Metro Mint Peppermint Water on the store shelf, I thought the simple combination of water and peppermint sounded good. It does. I won't deny that one bit. Metro Mint has a good thing going with all of the flavors of mint water that it offers. There's no sugar and zero calories, so that's going in Metro Mint's favor as well.
The problem that I have with this water is that it's nothing more than purified water and mint. You can actually get a stronger cooling sensation by drinking plain tap water (or filtered, whatever you choose) and sucking on a peppermint candy at the same time.
Granted, the peppermint candy adds a few calories and sugar (unless you get sugar-free peppermints) and there's a slight risk of choking for the uncoordinated, but overall I prefer that combination to Metro Mint's Peppermint Water.
In closing, Metro Mint's Peppermint Water isn't a bad product. It just comes across as more of a gimmick than anything else.
