I had buyers remorse after placing the order. An after thought about the horsepower made me skeptical. Their big one is 8 hp then their best seller is 4 hp this one is only 1.3. To my surprise it was awesome. I can't imagine using a 4 hp on my bike. It works great. Filtered & heated air it is well worth the money!

Purchased this dryer thinking that it would help a little with the drying time on my bike - this product is great - it cut my wash and dry time in half - I was able to get the water out of the fins on my engine heads as well as all the little spots I had difficulty getting to with a cloth. Even blew the dust off the garage floor prior to rolling the bike back in. Highly recommend this for the biker that has one or two bikes and likes to keep them clean. You will need an extention cord as the cord on the unit is aprox 18". Great product - great buy!

This is a whole lotta product in a small package. I had been considering some type of dryer to help with cleaning and drying my motorcycle, and when I found a very attractive price on Amazon.com I decided to try it. I'm glad that I did as this Metro Vac SK-1 is a great tool. It lives up to manufacturers claims and I can't imagine needing anything bigger.

I would normally resist washing my Sportster (typically use Dri-Wash products) because of the pain that comes with removing water spots, but the Metro Vaccum makes drying anything a breeze! Takes me about 5 minutes to completely dry my bike and the most important thing... "NO STREAKS or WATER SPOTS!" Needless to say, I love this compact portable motorcycle dryer!!!

I first researched and read all the reviews concerning the Metro Vacuum SK-1 Air Force Blaster Sidekick Portable Motorcycle Dryer. At first I was somewhat skeptical before purchasing this unit. Previously I was using my BIG bulky leaf blower to remove the water and debris from my bike. I wasn't always able to get underneath my bike with my leaf blower or those other hard to get to areas. Now with the Metro Vacuum's size, I'm now able to hit those tight areas I wasn't able to get to before. Also this little unit packs a punch, it has more power then my big made in China leaf blower. The little Metro pumps out 18,000 ft/min of warm, filtered air. The quality of this unit is top shelf, and it's made right here in the USA! What's important to me and high on my list is this. It's a quality unit, it does the job it's advertised to do and if it keeps an American worker employed here in the USA, then that's good enough for me! TIP: (Use your own discretion on this one.) For me, it works equally well when removing the crud from my PC's keyboard!

I love this dryer. I can't believe the power this little dude has. I dried my full dressed touring bike in about 15 minutes. The warm air not only blew the water off, but dried it too, leaving almost no water marks.

So in other words, you won't have to wipe off your bike. If you're particular like me about a clean bike you might still take a towel and dab what little water is left, but there won't be much. You'll be happy!!

This product performed as advertised. I am very happy with it. With regards to those comments about the short power cord. The company is looking out for your safety. There are many people out there 1 can short of a full 6 pack. You have just washed your bike (wet floor) and now want to dry it. Even if they gave you an 8 foot cord it is still not enough to work around your bike and you will get an extnsion cord. So when you plug it in the connection will be dragged on the floor through wet spots or puddles with a potential for shock. With the short cord the plug is well off the ground and there are no open connections on the ground. There is no difference if you get a 12 foot or 20 foot extension cord other than maybe being a practice dummy for your local EMT.

I would buy other products from this company and am considering their auto vac.

This air blaster is amazing. It's made though and it packs a lot of power. If you need something to replace that deafening air compressor, this is the right choice.

This is a great little dryer. It really blows the water off my bike. I can have the entire bike dry in 15 minutes. No more chamois or water spots. Definitely worth the money.
