4.0 out of 5 stars two grand?!?!?
I live in Charlotte, and for years ADC's street guides and maps were the way to go here: always accurate, always up to date, always easy to read. The new, post-Universal takeover editions are rolling out as we speak - I ordered the new maps of Athens GA and Rocky Mount NC just to see if they maintain the standard, and they should be here any day.

But...

3.0 out of 5 stars An okay map
For some reason, this ADC map seems like it's smaller than the really old one
I have. Just not as easy to read. Still, it'll get you where you need to go!

But seriously, I'm also a collector, and there's a map shop in town where I can get these things for MSRP; if it's out of print, I can get them for less (they don't want limited space being hogged up). Dunno if they have any left, but I've beefed up my collection of any number of things from 'going under' map publishers that way. Which is why I look through ADC, say, or MapArt (the Canadian company) and laugh out loud at some of the prices I see. Does ANYONE actually cough up that kind of money for something you might be able to get for $12.99 plus shipping from Universal Map's website, or for that matter the map rack of any convenience store in the city in question.

I've managed to collect plenty of ADC's publications, pretty much at the price printed on the front. Look around. It's not a difficult thing to do.

If your are a seller and actually find someone willing to cough up fifteen-hundred bucks for something I got for 20 or 30 a week ago, then congrats. Business and opportunity are strange, weird things sometimes.
