Sleek, sexy and functional...what more do you want?,

This review is from: Metrokane Bullet 28-Ounce Cocktail Shaker, Brushed Stainless Steel (Kitchen)
I recently purchased a funky mini bar for my home, so naturally I needed bar acessories to not only be functional but also match the decor. Thats why I chose the Metrokane bullet shaker. Most shakers look the same-- very blah and ordinary. Not the bullet shaker-- this one is really cool looking and far from ordinary. I got many compliments this Thanksgiving when I mixed martinis with this shaker. The capacity is more than the average shaker, so you can mix more drinks per use. Plus this shaker has a built in strainer-- which is a must for anyone looking for a shaker. The only fear I had when I ordered this was the quality of the product. I feared that since it was so stylish looking it might not be a quality shaker-- perhaps sacrificing form for function. Not so with this shaker. It's made with solid stainless steel and is quite sturdy. So far is looks like it will definitly last many martinis. Keep in mind that this is not an "insulated" cocktail shaker. The stainless steel body will get cold when mixing a few drinks in a row-- which is common for all metal shakers. Just keep a bar rag or napkin handy if you plan to shake a ton of drinks. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The Perfect Martini Shaker,
By Rick (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) - See all my reviews

You couldn't ask more from a martini shaker. Fill it with lots of ice, pour in vodka or gin, show the shaker that you own a bottle of vermouth, and shake vigorously for exactly forty-four (44) shakes. You will know when you are getting close because your hands will begin to become frostbitten. Allow the libation to rest for a couple of minutes while you prepare the glass. The idea is to pour clear liquid, not a foggy solution. If your drink tastes like glacier air, then you have created the perfect martini. Anything less is just cold alcohol.

Finally found one that works!,

I have searched high and low for a cocktail shaker that was large enough to make a "batch" of drinks and that didn't leak. Finally, I found one. This shaker doesn't leak like so many others and is a good size. I'm looking forward to using it for many years to come.
