Metrokane's Houdidin Expandable Wine Racks could not be easier to use and they offer one so much flexibility as they can be configured to fit a wide array of spaces. This is a great option for those just starting out in wine, those short on space, and those not yet ready (or who don't have the $$$) to commit to a permanent cellar. This would also be a great gift for newlyweds along with a couple of bottles of wine.
The material of these expandable racks is strong and highly durable so have no worries and start having fun building your own specialty wine rack.

This is my first wine rack, and I have enjoyed the simplicity of it. The bottles stay very stable, and I like knowing that I can order more to expand my collection. I also like the flexibility of being able to put the wine rack any where.

This little wine rack, which can turn into a big wine rack if you buy more pieces, is just about as slick as it gets. Good looking, high tech, efficient. I just wish I could buy more.

I purchased this a couple years ago - excited by the expandable nature and easy collapsability in case I didn't have any wine to store in my small apartment.
Since then, I've struggled to use it, and finally tossed it after about 18 months when it kept collapsing at the most inopportune times. It barely functioned to hold the bottles of wine as touted, and I found it hard to bother with something so small just to hold a few bottles. The counter ended up doing a better job. The clips to hook it to other units kept falling off, and the clips to hold the pieces together kept falling off too. Piece of junk not worth $12 - in this case, you don't even get what you pay for.

Excellent value, sturdy and can be configured to fit any space -I use mine under cabinets in a pantry in a very tight space that I could not find any other wine rack to fit! Also, you can build on what you have already purchased as your collection grows.

I really like these. I have a 8 units put together in 2 rows (holding 32 bottles), and I'm having no problem with toppling or instability, and I keep my racks pretty full of wine. As another reviewer mentioned, the bottom row of wine will end up sitting directly on your floor or counter, but that wasn't a problem for my setup. I found them easy to put together (with plenty of clips for attachment), and these take up the least amount of space of any wine rack I've seen. The only downside to them (and the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars) is that while I appreciate the compact size, if they were just a teeny bit bigger, I could store all types of wine in them. I have squeezed some pinot noirs in (being careful not to push off one of the attachment clips), but some pinot noirs and all champagnes are too big.

I don't know. I think this item is kinda flimsy - not sturdy. It's a good idea, but I wouldn't trust it with any expensive bottle of wine. Mine toppled over and the wine bottles that I had stored in it broke all over the floor. And yep - it was, unfortunately, red wine.
After that, (about 2 weeks of use) I folded it up, placed it back into the box, and sold it on eBay. It's worth about $4.00, not $12.00. I would bypass this rack and get yourself a better quality rack.

Really good design and function for a wine rack that can fit in a crowded fridge. And a great concept for gradually building a larger wine storage rack to fit your space.
