Editor's Choice:Ideal for restaurant and home use, Metrokane's Professional Juicer has all the advantages of the company's Chef Juicier, and is larger and sturdier to boot at 20-1/2 inches high, 6-1/2 inches wide, and 8-3/4 inches deep. It's our choice for best citrus juicer over $100. You'll need a fairly large counter to have this out, but once you find a good spot you'll be happy to leave it on display, as it looks lovely with its durable chrome finish. It also leads to tastier juice.

Returned it,

I bought the Metrokane Restaurant manual juicer because I already own an Omega which I really love for carrot and vegetable juicing but I don't like my Omega juicer which has a citrus attachment for juicing citrus. It is too much work and it wastes ALOT. I am looking for a citrus PRESS style juicer but when I bought the Metrokane Restaurant manual juicer - I found it tough to store because it's so tall and heavy and it moves around when you are trying to juice(it needs rubber stops underneath). The other problem for me was that I needed a chair so that I was above the juicer so I could use it easier - I'm 5'7" but standing on the floor with the juicer on the counter was cumbersome and then with it moving around while trying to use it - was frustrating. It's very impressive to look at until you take it home and try it. I wasn't impressed at all. For the price (***) I thought it should produce more juice as there is still lots of fruit unsqueezed left behind on all the sides of the fruit even on smaller oranges but especially on larger fruit. The metal cone shaped part that comes down on the fruit needs to be heavy iron with strong hard ridges to help press out the juice as the flat metal surface doesn't do the job. I didn't like this juicer at all and couldn't wait to return it. I'm still looking for the right one. When companies' (especially on the internet) charge a re-stocking fee and say you can't try it before you buy it - well that doesn't make buying the right juicer easy at all. Thank you to all the people that took the time to write reviews on juicing machines because - they have helped me a great deal!

Mine broke after only 10 lbs of lemons. I would only reccomend it for a boat anchor. The handle assembly is poorly made, look elsewhere for quality in this area.

My favorite citrus juicer,

This is a great citrus juicer and has very little to clean up. I purchased mine from Williams-Sonoma several weeks ago, and have used it every day since I purchased it.There have been no problems with the mechanism, and you can take the pressing cone and funnel out to run through the dishwasher. Little effort is required to squeeze mid-sized oranges. I've also squeezed lemons and limes with no difficulty. I have three other citrus juicers (two Cuisinarts and one Braun) and I'd rate this as my favorite. The Cuisinarts are great for tearing through a large deal of fruit quickly, but there's a lot to clean up. This one's a breeze to use for a few glasses of juice and cleanup is a snap! There's a lifetime warranty on moving parts.
