With CodeWarrior for Mac OS 7.0, developers can build native Mac OS X applications using the optimized Mach-O compiler and native debugger. Metrowerks' object-oriented, C++ PowerPlant framework lets you quickly and easily develop Macintosh applications. Write your code once using PowerPlant, and run it on both Classic Mac OS or Mac OS X. CodeWarrior will also convert existing Carbon PEF projects over to Mach-O to build application packages on Mac OS X. The project converter automatically changes your existing project settings and adds Mach-O targets, enabling your project to run natively on Mac OS X.

CodeWarrior's class browser lets you view classes, member functions, and data members without having to search through numerous project files. The navigation features allow you to find any symbol in your code and edit it instantly. Create native Java applications using the JDK 1.1.8 (MRJ 2.2.X) on Classic Mac OS and the Java 2 standards on Mac OS X. Plus, the CodeWarrior IDE includes visual drag-and-drop RAD tools that automatically generate your code when you create the design.
