The book is useless, June 13, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Metrowerks Codewarrior Professional Book: Streamline Mac Application Development (Paperback)
I found this book totally useless. The format was hard to read : it mentioned a particular point but you had to wait until much later in the book to find out how it worked. The whole book is fragmented. Metrowerk's "Inside PowerPlant" is a far better read.

Beginners Beware, March 2, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Metrowerks Codewarrior Professional Book: Streamline Mac Application Development (Paperback)
This book is most certainly not for the novice programmer, Macintosh or otherwise. It assumes that you have a solid grasp of C/C++. It tends to gloss over much of the unique nature of Macintosh programming, leaving the reader to try and fill in the blanks from other material where intuitive leaps can't me made. I found the book useful only because it was the third book on Mac programming I've read.
