Marcelo is back with a great album, at least the best produced by far. Can't stop listening to tracks like "E Assim Que Se Faz", "E Preciso Lutar" and "(Um Filme) Malandragem". The last two have killer jazz piano playing parts mixed in with some great female vocals and Marcelo's great rappin and beats. This CD can go a long way in late-night parties or just for chillin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hippity Hop, September 30, 2006
This review is from: Meu Samba E Assim (Audio CD)
Call me naïve but what's not to like about a hippy hop band? Although I have absolutely no idea what this Brazilain sexpot is saying or whether it is legal, it sounds good. Who can doubt the mighty Marcelo? I have to get myself a one way ticket to Brazil! Soon!

4.0 out of 5 stars The man does it again, June 16, 2006
This review is from: Meu Samba E Assim (Audio CD)
A few throw backs to the last album, a bit more 'Gilles Peterson' if that makes any sense. A lot more emphasis on musical and vocal melody it seems. The only music listened to more in brazil than this guy is the Windows start up tune.
