Editorial Reviews

Review

“The most comprehensive and useful annotated bibliography available on the Mexican-American War....The detailed nine-page table of contents...together with a 36-page cross-referenced index, makes this an easily used guide that quickly facilitates the researcher's quest. Carefully annotated entries provide a wealth of information. Eight appendixes... likely to be the standard reference on this subject for decades. Very highly recommended for both public and academic libraries.”–Choice

4.0 out of 5 stars An Absolute MUST for the Mexican-American War Researcher!, October 25, 2001

This review is from: The Mexican-American War: An Annotated Bibliography (Hardcover)
As you can tell by the title, this isn't a book to be read, but a resource for discovering other titles relating to the Mexican-American War. Though because of its age many newer titles on this subject are not included, the vast amount of original, first-person information recounted within Mr. Tuturow's book makes it worth the expense. (Lucky me, I got mine as a gift!)
