I bought these glasses because I wanted something attractive for every day that wouldn't tip easily when one of my very large dogs gives a hard bump to a table or gives the glass on the coffee table a bit of a tail swish. They serve that purpose admirably because their short, wide shape makes them very stable.

As well as being artistically appealing these glasses are amazingly durable. I've had a set of juice glasses like them since the early 80's and have only lost one to breakage despite quite careless handling. The glass broke from thermal shock mentioned in the description. Dear spouse put ice in the glass right out of a very hot dishwasher, a very unwise thing to do with any glass, even pyrex. Also, I've never bothered to hand wash these glasses and they hold up to being put in the dishwasher like champs.

I would have appreciated seeing the approximate glass size in the description which is approximately 3 3/8 W" x 5/14" H which varies a bit from glass to glass because they are handmade. The size is to large for a child to grasp comfortably.

The vendor shipped very quickly and provided excellent packing.

This is a truly lovely piece of glassware. I have little hands, so it's a tad big for my tiny digits. It's great for making cold drinks for a manly man with big hands!! I love the cobalt color ... as it accents so many other colors.

these glasses are strong and beautiful...I love thick Mexican glass....the only issue is that the rims are a bit rough in places...won't cut your lip, but wish they were smoothed a bit more.
Still, I would choose these glasses over any others I've seen.!!!
