A good New Wave song that incorporates traditional Mexican music into the song to give the feel that an American is listening to a radio station from another country. The song has made its way into such pop culture as "Seinfeld" episodes.

I bought the single mp3 download of Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo from Amazon.com. Download works great, saves into my Music folder in the Document Folder. Windows Media Player finds it fast plays great. Brings back memories.Weird wacky catchy great sound. Radio station)s) in Houston used the song for jingles so it's life was extended. Simple with cute chorus that is not over played. What's not to like. MP3 downloads have to be the single greatest aspect of digital music and the age of instant everything. I can buy my favorite tracks for a buck or $1.29 without buying the whole CD and they save and store in WMP as stand alone tracks under the artist and I still own 50 vinyl albums and 100 singles. |
