Cuentos Mexicanos - Dual Language, April 25, 2008
This review is from: Mexican Short Stories / Cuentos mexicanos: A Dual-Language Book (Dover Dual Language Spanish) (Paperback)
I am thoroughly enjoying this book. I read it in Spanish first and when there is a problem I can just glance across the page at the English. The stories are most interesting.

Print too small, December 30, 2010
This review is from: Mexican Short Stories / Cuentos mexicanos: A Dual-Language Book (Dover Dual Language Spanish) (Paperback)
For someone of my years, the type is too small. Also, I would like room to write comments, word meanings, and alternate translations in the margins and between the lines. Moreover, Appelbaum has a style that seems ornate in English though it does parallel the Spanish closely. I much prefer the McGraw Hill Side by Side Bilingual Books "Stories from ... " series, especially those translated by Genevieve Barlow.
