Este disco esta sensacional. It is truly very, very good. The songs are excellent. The production is top notch. Consistent from the beginning to the end.

It is unique in that it has a Mariachi feel with the Guitarron (bass), the Guitarras and Vihuela. Yet it has a modern feel to it because the arrangements aren't entirely Mariachi.

Also, and this is the coolest part of this CD, instead of Trumpets, they used Flugelhorns. This gives it a more symphonic, mellow, romantic, sound (think Herb Alpert). That combined with the big string section (cellos, violas, and violins), gives this album a very cool sound indeed.

To top it all off and make it one of my favorite albums in recent memory, Diego's singing is superb! It's like he was born to do this style more than any other that I've ever heard him sing. Vocally, this is probably his best ever.

Oh, and did I mention that the song writing (my copy doesn't have the credits, but I believe all or most are Joan Sebastian's) is also excellent.

i always liked Diego singing, but very seldom you will hear him on the radio.When i heard about Joan making this songs for him i was sure it will be a winner i was not disappointed at all, magnificent job!

I downloaded this album just the other day and I was pleasantly suprised. "Diego" has always been a favorite of my wife and now that I heard him sing in this album, I can say that I am now a fan of his.

Listened to his music over a good meal and a good glass of wine.
