From Library Journal
This may just be the best international business book buy this year. In one inexpensive volume, you get much of the information you need for business trips and preliminary investment research: best import/export opportunities, demographics, and overview of the economy, law and taxation, and cultural and travel information. Bilingual glossaries and sample business forms, a directory of important addresses, color maps, and an extensive index are also included, as is a chapter on NAFTA. There are some equally useful, and similarly priced, alternatives, like Anita Winsor's Complete Guide to Doing Business in Mexico (LJ 4/15/94) and Business International's Guide to Doing Business in Mexico (LJ 3/15/93). Mexico Business, however, is a bit more stylish than these, and so may be more attractive to patrons. As well as Mexico, the Country Business Guide series includes volumes on China, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Korea. At $25 each, what business library can afford not to have them?-Kris Swank, American Graduate Sch. of International Management Lib., Glendale, Ariz.
