There are few main, paved roads, in Mexico. Even fewer marked highways. With so few marked highways one would think that the highways that do have desigations (Mexico 59) would have each section marked. No, instead you have red roads, I.E. Mexico 59, that will continue on between numerous intersections with no designation. Try to figure which red road is the road one is looking for. The majority of paved roads are not designated and in Mexico there may or may not be a sign that points to the town it leads to. Since this is the case one would think that those towns would be on the map, but one would be wrong. Now I feel I am pretty good at reading a map but I can't tell you how many times we took the wrong turn and didn't know it until 30 miles later when we finally arrived at a town that was on the map. If you can find a tourist map of the area or state it will provide more information and allow you to find your way without taking a wrong turn and ending up 40 miles from your destination.
