Used constantly during 2 week stay traveling all over Mexico City. We used street name look up constantly. No tearing because laminated.

It can fit into a pocket or purse easily, and I love that its laminated. It can get wet without a problem, and it doesn't get damaged or torn.

I purchased the laminated B&B Mexico City map at a store in Mexico City. It's a laminated map that folds great into my hip pocket. I have used it for several years. It is in color and very easy on the eyes. It is a great companion to a travel guide.

good map,

This map extends further south and further north than Streetwise Mexico City. It doesn't go as far west, and therefore doesn't cover as much of Chapaultepec park as Streetwise. It is laminated, but of a much lighter weight--though it seems even more durable--than Streetwise. The Metro system map is current but the print is miniscule. As with Streetwise, the Metro routes/stops are interposed on the street map, making it easier to figure out where you are when you get off the Metro. The main drawback I see is that you have to unfold the whole map to see much thereby marking yourself as a lost tourist--Streetwise is printed with the north of the city on one side and the south on the flip side. Streetwise is folded in a fan configuration and is therefore designed for a much more subtle usage/hunting of streets etc. Once you get used to Streetwise, you know exactly which fold to open to see what you want. I lost my copy of Streetwise last year and decided to try the Borch. With either map, if you plan to explore way off the beaten path, you need to have a guidebook with the little section maps in the back, or check the maps in city telephone books.
