I am truly offended! I cannot understand how someone would not like this cd! I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion! But let me tell you, and yes I am a loyal, probably her number one fan in the world! But I will give you truly valid points to why LAURA PAUSINI remains to be unlike anyone else! In "Ana Dime Si" ( Ana Please Say Yes), have you ever heard such an intimate conversation to another friend? She sings to an italian girl ( a fan who's been following her career since day one); who faces anorexia, and tells her I will be with you, even when the strenght you will not have to live, Ana yes I know it's hard for you to seek another day, that's why I will be here, Ana please say yes! She goes on telling her how she can love herself a bit more, she tells her I don't know if you want to hear me ( are we capable of understanding that? Anorexia is so devastating that Ana even when she knows Laura's fame, talent, beauty might not want to hear her! ) and yet Laurita tells her I will not leave you! It doesn't matter! Laura wrote this song after visiting her, and not seeing any progress. " En Ausencia De Ti " ( In Your Absence), she compares herself to a tree, when the leaves that are falling and the roots that are drying represent the person that is leaving her, when that cold feeling of loneliness fills her; her voice gives me chills as she says, your absence is so devastating that I find myself looking for God in the emptiness, in your absence I would like to say, I miss you so much, the pain is so strong it's defying, in your absence I will not be able to live. Her voice is so captivating as she sais I see the two of us again, two hearts, but just one beat, each tear will be for you, in your absence I will not live! Yes the lyrics of this song are captivating, but it's the power and feeling in her voice that makes me tremble! "Looking for Angel" written by Phil Collins is a wonderful, very mellow song, talking about needing love and at the same time having that fear, that things don't always work the way we plan! Wow what else can I say? This album is full of TALENT! LAURA ONCE AGAIN I AM TRULY IMPRESSED WITH YOUR WORK! BRAVO!

Laura is the greatest!
This is a great album, Only that this CD has a different beat.
I don't know what everyone is complaining about! This is one of her best albums! Laura also wrote a few songs, like ANNA DIMMI SI (ANNA SAY YES) that's about a friend of hers with bulimi,she wrote BUONE VERITA because she was inspired by a poem by Mother Theresa from Calcutta to write that song and I love! It's a beautiful song.
My advice to those who reads this review is to buy the CD. I can't live without it!

Quest'ultimo cd è veramente stupendo. Non mi stanco mai di ascoltarlo ed ogni volta è sempre un'emozione nuova. In particolare "In assenza di te" è stupenda e sono indescrivibili le emozioni che provo ascoltandola. Poi devo dire che anche tutte le altre canzoni del CD sono ottime, sia nelle parole che nella musica. Quando le ascolto vorrei poter mettere lo stereo a tutto volume, ma abito in un condominio e ciò non è possibile, così metto le cuffie e alzo il volume al massimo. Ho anche acquistato la videocassetta con i videoclip di alcune canzoni... ci sono anche i commenti di Laura. Una cosa da comprare! Una cosa che voglio dire è che ho potuto conoscere Laura di persona ed è stata una grande emozione... infatti ho scoperto che lei è veramente così come si vede in tv, semplice, sincera e una grande amica. Abbiamo parlato un po' assieme durante le prove del suo concerto qui a Verona l'anno scorso e abbiamo fatto anche una foto assieme.
