MiGi Alphabet 4-Piece Baby Bedding Set

I was specifically looking for an alphabet design that would have a picture associated with the majority, if not all letters in the alphabet. Other alphabet designs take shortcuts with just a few pictures. I wanted to do this for my second child because my older child also has an alphabet design with a picture of an animal for almost all the letters and showed an avid interest in going over the pictures, learning new words and letters early on. I;ve even caught her quietly repeating the names of the animals to herself before falling asleep!

having met my first requirement, this is also a very cute design with a modern touch. What has been disappointing:

- I expected all cotton materials but both the blanket and the bumper have a fluffy, all polyester back. this was not apparent from the picture or the description.
- bumper ties are too short and a struggle to tie in the back and the 4 corners of a sleigh-type crib
- bumper ties are not in the right places if your crib has a solid panel in the center of the long side of the crib. I have tried to remove them and re-sew them in more usable locations along the bumper but there really needs to be more ties attached in the first place
- the sheet fits but the dots are just too much and too dense - it's a very busy pattern
- you cannot buy spare sheets and it is hard to match the color/pattern with another brand - important in a baby set given that you can have a variety of accidents

I just assembled all of the crib bedding this morning. We have based the decor in the room around this bedding set (we also purchased the valences), but when I went to make up the bed, I realized that the bumper doesn't fit in the crib on its highest height (meant for small infants)! So, basically, I spent all this money and all we're using at first is the sheet and the crib skirt, which, depending on your crib, you may not even be able to see all that well. I'm starting to think buying any bed-in-a-bag for baby is a waste of money.

That said, the quality of the set is fine and I still really like the design. You just may want to get your furniture and take careful measurements BEFORE you invest in a bedding set.

I loved the look of the bedding but the price at the baby store was 50$ more!!

I love MiGi they have really nice designs. I have the Pinwheel bedding myself
and got the Alphabet for my friend as a shower gift.
all in all very happy!!

I just received my Migi alphabet crib bedding and it is really cute. The colors are great and are true to the photos online. The quality is O.K. Fabric is a little thin but for what you pay, it will work for the next 12 months if you keep your fingers crossed. The quilt it comes with is soft on one side and is a good size for covering them at night as they get older. The only thing I noticed was small yellow spots in the white circles on the crib skirt kind of a bummer when you are excited to set it all up. They look like someone splashed it with orange juice.
I would have been pissed if this was my first baby, but after buying a 450.00 set for my first. I realized it's not even something I intend on keeping. I would return it, but I don't want to waist any more time with bed brain.. This is just another thing I am willing to look passed because I have laundry, dishes and kids to keep up with.
Mine came from Baby Super Mall. Incase you have a choice of where they get it from.
