My wife and I recently purchased two blue and two black MiGo 16 oz. travel mugs. They fit in the cup holder of our car, a Hyundai Sonata, where our prior mugs did not. We found other mugs that fit, but most of them were not safe for the dishwasher. The MiGo mugs were one of the few that both fit the drinkholder and are dishwasher safe (top rack). It's a one handed operation while driving (you have to keep on hand on the steering wheel, right?). The top cover has a latch that can be opened with your thumb, while holding the mugs handle with your fingers. The mug isn't totally spill-proof, but then again, the spill-proof mugs we found weren't dishwasher friendly. If it flips over, the spillage is slight.

I ordered this for my husband. He wanted a travel mug that was dishwasher safe, relatively spill proof (you can't turn in upside down, obviously!) and would keep his drink warm for his half hour commute. I thought it would be easy to find a mug fitting that description-- It isn't! The Migo, however, has done exactly as advertised. He has been very pleased.

The overall design of this mug is decent, but the lid is not spill proof, and the little latch part of the lid is very hard to open and often causes a spill when trying to do it with one hand.
