5.0 out of 5 stars good book, January 9, 2007
This review is from: The Miamis! (Hoosier Heritage Series) (Hardcover)
My 3rd grade son read this aloud within our homeschool history program and we enjoyed it immensely. I thought it very telling of native american life. Although I do not posess the credentials to judge thoroughly it seemed honest and devoted to passing on an authentic story of Miami indians. Needs a fluent reader, but the story could be understand by children ages 4 and up. Some scary moments might have to be handled with special attention, but very doable in that regard.
