A Godsend for Lost Novices,

This is an outstanding book. Superb!
Whatever you pay for it, its a bargain given the confidence it engenders in identifying early US stamps. Although I am an experienced collector in non-US stamps (eg Australia, Aust States, Iceland),the US has some unusual concepts to grasp (eg grills, countless reprints on altered plates) which simply hadn't come into my world until I started collecting USA classics. I don't know what else to say. A MUST for anyone interested in American classics pre-1925! |
