The interest in piano and the desire to play, has increased tremendously in the past few years. Especially is this noticeable among adults who have either had some elementary piano instruction in their youth or have been denied this study for various reasons. This increased interest is partly due to the widespread influence of radio. Extinct like the dinosaurs--why is it still being sold?,

This series is so old I can't believe Alfred is still selling it. It's from the era of the Schaum series I learned as a kid in the late 50s. There are so many better and more modern methods now that this wooly mammoth should only be seen in a museum!

I liked the explanations. I went back almost to the beginning and practiced most of the pieces. That really helped.
