size runs very large,

If you have athletic/toned calves and etc...this is NOT the shoe for you! To give you a good comparison for fitting, I am5' 3", 124 lbs, wear size 1/2 womans or 5 in Juniors and wear a 6.5 shoe consistently and this sandal runs extremely large. Feels as if it is at least half a size to a whole size larger in length. Also the straps around the ankles are meant for people with larger calves.I could try to put notches (I would have to take them in by at least 2-3 inches) but the bottom strap near the ankle doesn't have a buckle and cant be adjusted as well. So basically, this was a bust.
The shoe itself is very cool though...I am very saddened that someone in shoe sizing doesn't know how to size shoes properly!!! :9

These are comfortable, fashionable, and good quality gladiator sandals. I have paid more for less many times. I would highly recommend. I looked everywhere and even costume shops did not have what I wanted.
