I was reluctant to buy this CD because I don't know any song but I'm glad I bought it. It's a wonderful collection of songs. Listening to Michael belt out "I might even loose my heart" is worth it. When he belts out those note it seems so easy

You get addicted to this CD!!! Michael Ball has an incredible voice... and his rendition of "Beautiful Heartache" is incredibly sexy.....

This great vocalist has put out a pleasing mix of tempos and moods. This is one I listen to again and again. Some of the arrangements are over-blown, but "the voice" never disappoints.

as a MB fan, this cd is a must have. Although it is an earlier work of Michael, his voice is as good as it could be. The songs are not so familiar and popular, but that's why you should have it!

Sometimes even the best voices can't save some songs. And sometimes they can. Michael Ball, one of the most talented singers in the musical theatre world today, tries his hand at pop in this, his first solo album. Some of the songs are painfully silly while others, especially "No One Cries Anymore" and "As Dreams Go By" are absolutely beautiful.

I bought this CD about 5 years ago. It's still my favorite, and I have all of his solo albums now. True, the songs are corny, but come on, people. Michael Ball is the epitome of corny so isn't it fitting? Buy it!
