After 40 hours of massage with Benghiat, its basic value is clear. The only improvement would be greater diversity in the low notes that form the foundation of soothing consistency. Reliable stability in music structure for keeping your hands focused on the client.

I travel a lot on business and this cd is always in the cd case in my briefcase when i hit the road. Music from Big Sur literally kept me sane during a 13 hour plus flight from kennedy airport in nyc to taipei in taiwan. I highly recommend this music for anyone who wants to totally relax into a mind state that is peaceful but not boring, alert but relaxed, or if you want to feel your mind expanding into infinite space. I've bought a lot of so-called new age music and a lot of it is sort of melancholy but this cd is not -- you feel optimistic, recharged and yet totally calm!!

Michael Benghiat is an extremely gifted artist. His music evokes a sense of tranquility, serenity, and inner peace. I especially love his "Doors of Perception" and "Rainbow Bridge" albums. Thank you, Looking Glass Productions.

I've bought over 20 CD's recently and this is one of my favorites. It is fresh, innovative, and heartfelt. I especially like the fact that is is in low tones and very soothing. I will use it for yoga or extreme listening pleasure. I look forward to his releases coming up in July.

This is my second purchase of this CD. I wore out my first copy by playing it almost exclusively as the background music to the Esalen massage I offer at my studio. I have tried other pieces, but nothing I have found comes so close to capturing the true spirit of the Esalen experience. The entire CD is a perfect accompaniment to a relaxing holistic massage. It sets an ideal mood for the practitioner and the client with its subtle innuendo of peaceful nature and gentle movement. A spectacular creation!

This is my very favorite CD for teaching gentle yoga classes. I have been teaching yoga for 11 years and own a studio, and have played this CD in gentle classes more than any other CD. It is beautiful, relaxing, unobtrusive and never distracting, but at the same time interesting and really enjoyable to listen to, and perfectly fills the spaces between my verbal instructions. I give this my highest recommendation.

I really enjoy the CD, but I would prefer that there be more violins, and not so much flute music. I didn't hear too much surf sounds, which I like also.
