I have read and enjoyed Michael Connelly's books and enjoyed his character Bosch. I hated - really hated - what he did to Bosch in this book. I just don't see how it fits his character. The author has gone to such lengths to build this man - he had a dark side - he didn't have a decadent side. His whole life was following the rules. Even his own word "What did I do?" and his resolve to start over - it doesn't smell right. And The ex-agents marital problems - unresolved and unreal. Not to mention the physical trials of a HEART TRANSPLANT RECEIPIENT. Please.
The ending ruined the entire book for me.
