When my husband dropped the carafe for our favorite coffee maker on the floor, it smashed into tiny shards all over the kitchen. Fortunately this replacement is exactly like the one we broke. It was cheaper than buying it directly from Target.com. (They do not carry the replacement in the store.) The options are white or black. However that is referring to the color of the machine. The white option actually has the same grey handle and lid of the original carafe that matches the trim on the white coffee maker.

It's just like the original, but it's the dark gray so it matches the unit. It is not white, as claimed, which is better. I was worried about the white carafe not matching the original unit, but was pleasantly surprised to find it matches perfectly.

The carafe came a week later than Amazon expected it would. When it did finally arrive the lid was broken into pieces. Thankfully I had saved the lid on the original carafe (which broke when I dropped it...hence the need to buy a new one), so was able to make it work. But the original carafe had a black lid and accents, of course the replacement lid and accents are gray. They match okay with the coffee maker, but I liked the black better. Not sure why the company doesn't make black replacement carafes. Oh well. Other than being disappointed with the broken piece and the product arriving late, I think the carafe is fine. It works...I can make coffee again...all is well.
