First I would like to say that this game was a lot of fun. I got it yesterday and played it for an hour and was sweating so much it was crazy. If you're a MJ fan, then this is the perfect game for you. I danced, I sang, then I danced some more. Interesting enough it wasn't hard to follow the moves from the pictograms or even MJ himself because they depicted his signature moves. I'm totally in love with this game.

Now for the bad... unlocking training videos, really? Training and warm/up videos should have been a feature that is available to the user before they begin attempting the dance moves and not something that the user gets after he has attempted the dance moves. The next thing that I found annoying was that I had to enter my name each time I completed a song. I should have been assigned a avatar/user at the beginning of the game to eliminate this need.

Overall, BIG FUN!!! But, I couldn't in good conscience give this game the full five stars because of the problems with game usability. The realism and fun of the songs and dance moves are a solid 6 stars but the usability is a only worthy of 2 stars. Thus, I'll compromise with a rating of 4 stars.

I used to like video games, way back when, but never wanted a Wii since I figured there wasn't anything I'd want to play. I hate violent shoot 'em up, or beat 'em down type games, which seems like what most have devolved into. But then I heard about Michael Jackson The Experience, and went right out the next day and bought a Wii! I guess celebrity endorsements really do work -- especially when it's a celebrity of this caliber!

Michael Jackson and Wii are the perfect match -- they fit like a sequined glove; hence why they included one with this game. Silly enough, there's a disclaimer to not wear the glove while playing. I guess they're afraid of lawsuits if the remote slips out of your sequined hand and into something valuable. The glove itself is pretty cheap and barely fits my hand, but it's still a very cool memento.

Both MJ's moves and his music lend themselves exceedingly well to a game like this. And when I saw the trailer for the game, I was instantly sold. The thought of dancing and singing along with the King of Pop literally gave me goose bumps. No, MJ is not in this video game -- but his spirit exudes each and every song/dance number. And the dancers they used to replicate his moves are very good and completely embody the spirit of MJ. The game's graphics wash out the exposure on the dancer's faces just enough, so that you can imagine you're dancing along with the real MJ. And the costume and makeup department did an excellent job replicating each and every outfit MJ wore in his videos. You really get the look and feel of a custom tailored MJ experience straight from his iconic videos. And his moves are so iconic and unmistakably Michael; no other artist could pull off a game like this.

We got this game thinking that the kids would not really be into it, but as it turns out, they LOVE it. I have a 12 yr old and a 7 yr old. Both are hugh MJ fans. They play it competitively, trying to get a better score each time. They invite friends over to play it with them after school. My mother even plays it with her cousin. The game is also a great work out. Good Music and cool graphics plus bonuses after u get a certain score on a song.

This game is amazing. Its like just dance but way better. But you will definately need some elbow room to play this game so put your sofa in the hallway take down your pictures on the wall lamps etc....just kidding. But this game is a must have. The only song that is missing is Dancing Machine i kinda wanted to do the robot.

As someone who likes Michael Jackson but does not consider himself a fan, I think it's more important that you've tried and liked "Just Dance", because this game is essentially "Just Dance: Michael Jackson".

As someone who does like "Just Dance" for what it is, "Michael Jackson: The Experience" offers more of the same game-play built around Michael Jackson, and it does an admirable job. There are dances for duos and groups based on Michael Jackson's well-known hits, complete with animation and backdrops based on his music videos. I was particularly impressed with "Black & White", during which the back-up dancers and backdrops change from locale to locale, just like the original video.

For each song, each player can choose to dance either as Michael Jackson, his partner, or his backup dancers. For some songs, the difficulty level vary depending on which role you play, which is an interesting addition.

One slight difference in presentation from "Just Dance" is that the on-screen dance cues are smaller and scrolls vertically on either side of the screen. This is probably intended to give more visual space to the on-screen dancers. For me the cues were a little more difficult to follow visually; however, most moves in each song are repeated several times, so the moves are fairly easy to pick up. Besides, it's not as if the motion-sensing is that all demanding. You'll get the hang of it after a play-through or two.

The game's motion-sensing, like the previous "Just Dance" games, is mostly iffy. But, the game succeeds in getting you up, dancing and moving to Michael Jackson, and that probably counts more than anything for "Just Dance" fans.

There are a lot of complaints about having to unlock the training videos, which is fair up to a point.
