My 11 year old son had to do an autobiography report for school and chose Michael Jordan, partially because the book was written by his favorite sports author, Matt Christopher. My son loves sports and enjoys reading all of the Matt Christopher books. This book contains interesting facts about the sports legend Michael Jordan and is written to hold the interest of a 6th grade kid.

My 9 y.o. loves it. I bought in 12/11 as a christmas present and he has read it twice. The book is well written.

I bought this book for my son's third grade biography report. It's a great resource for "all things Michael Jordan" but many times it is heavy on the details (too many details on each game of each playoff etc.). It got monotonous towards the end. Otherwise it was a great source for a book report.

Michael Jordan is a NBA basketball player he isn't just an NBA basketball player he is the best NBA basketball player of all time. He has won 3 defensive MVP award and he has won a total of 11 MVP awards he is the only person in the world that has won that many MVP awards. It is nearly imposible.

In his high school career he wasn't that good. But he got a scholer ship to North Carolina. When he got his scholer ship to North Carolina he played played starting point guard. He averaged 25 points per game and then he went to the NBA. He was going to play for the Portland Trail Blazers but the Blazers picked Sam Booie. Michael Jodan said if the blazers picked him he would of never been as good. Because he wouldn't have played as much so he wouldn't have been able to show the coach how good he was by sitting on the bench. He average 30 points per game in 2002. The most points he has ever scored in a game is 63 points against the Clevland Cavaliers. It was insane.


This book is great if you like Michael Jordan and you want to learn about him. Then this is the book you should read because it tells so much stuff about him. It is not just about his basketball life, it also tells you about his family, what he did when he wasn't playing basketball, and a couple of other things. Here is a fact it tells about him in the book he didn't get his first bike tell he was 18 years old.
