5.0 out of 5 stars Michael New: Americanist, Constitutionalist, Christian, Hero
Everytime I research books on Amazon purported to be conservative or 'right-wing', I always find critical reviews to be anonymous. Perhaps Amazon should review it's review policy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Transparent attempt to make money off deluded right-wingers
Now that the Soviet Union is gone, right-wingers need a new cause to keep army guys sending their money to right-wing politicos. So they have turned against the very international collaboration which enabled Ronald Reagan to unite the world against the Soviet Union, and enabled George Bush to crush Saddam Hussain's invasion of Kuwait.

Everytime I research books on Amazon purported to be conservative or 'right-wing', I always find critical reviews to be anonymous. Perhaps Amazon should review it's review policy.

With that said I will tell you who I am; I live in New Hampshire, served in the Army and have actually met Michael New. Michael New is a humble, honorable and decent American who, through homeschooling, actually learned about America's history and its Constitution. Which is unlike what is taught in government education. And when faced with a conflicting issue Michael New chose the side of the Constitution.

In Michael New: Mercenary or American Soldier? you will read about a real American who put his country ahead of all other interests and motivations. Including his military career. What a rare and unique individual. Compare that to the White House.

Thankfully we still have Americans like Michael New. If you have your doubts order the book and read it for yourself. Afterward you can write your own Amazon book review. :)

For America, Mark Santelman Nashua, NH

5.0 out of 5 stars Young soldier who wouldn't break his oath..., February 3, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Michael New: Mercenary or American Soldier? (Paperback)
While Bill Clinton refused to wear the American uniform, Michael New refused to take it off. And for that he was court-martialed. Now it's your turn to judge for yourself... Daniel New does a terrific job of telling the poignant story of his son's stand against President Clinton, the United Nations, and the Army brass. It doesn't take long for the reader to discover that the News are a family that very much love each other -- and their country. But this book is not a fluff piece. Daniel New makes a convincing and thoughtful case that American soldiers are deliberately being turned into U.N mercenaries. And he provides plenty of documentation in the book to support his argument! This is a must read for any American who ever served in the military, or who has loved ones currently in the military. A real eye-opener.

5.0 out of 5 stars Michael New's defense of the Constitution: A crime?, January 24, 1999

If you want to get angry at injustice and the apparent apathy (or antagonism) of military and government officials toward the true meaning of the Constitution, read this book! This is the story of a courageous, principled young man's taking a stand for his oath to support and defend the Constitution; and then being treated as a traitor, a criminal. You will also find some scary insight into what is motivating the U.N.'s actions. If you love America, you need to read this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Obey Your Oath and get Punished, February 9, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Michael New: Mercenary or American Soldier? (Paperback)
Spc.Michael New is guilty, yes guilty of loving his country. If our President can force our Military Men into involuntary servitude with the United Nations, what in stopping him from forcing them into service for China or some other third world country.

Michael New deserves a metal for being a true American and willing to stand and die for his country unlike President Clinton who lied and cheated his way out.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book was well written and very important Americans!, February 3, 1999

As a Special Forces soldier in Germany, I didn't expect to like the book, "Michael New: Mercenary or American Soldier?". Before I read the book, I thought Michael New simply disobeyed a direct order and should be punished, but this book opened my eyes! His honorable stand for America and servicemen like myself has opened a huge can of worms for people in the U.S. government who would like to sell out soldiers like myself to different countries! This book echoes the Battle Cry of soldiers like myself: Long live America!

5.0 out of 5 stars Duty, April 16, 2001

Sometimes the duty to fight falls on one man's shoulders, and that man acts, not for himself alone, but for all citizens, and for his country. This is one of those times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Michael New, American patriot and Hero!, April 21, 2000
This review is from: Michael New: Mercenary or American Soldier? (Paperback)
Michael New is a hero in the order of those who have recieved the Medal of Honor. This book is well written, well documented and is guaranteed to scare the hell out of any normal, rational thinking American. It should be mandatory reading for ALL military personnel and it should be read before the Congress in session by the President and before the Nation on all National television networks. If you love America and want to do something to understand how we are being set up for invasion and take over by the New World Order, then read this book. Now that the Soviet Union is gone, right-wingers need a new cause to keep army guys sending their money to right-wing politicos. Michael New's childish attempt to dictate the terms of his service to his superior officers is matched only by his contrived and twisted effort to profit from his crime in this book.

Followers of David Koresh, Lyndon LaRouche, and Sun Myung Moon will enjoy this book. For all others we recommend the movie "Conspiracy Theory" with Mel Gibson and Patrick Stewart instead. Or perhaps George Romero's movie "The Crazies".
