5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best!
If you had to pin me down, I'd probably say this is my favorite reggae CD, leaving out Bob of course. Michael Rose has a voice you'll never forget, though it has matured and gotten huskier since his Black Uhuru days. And the songwriting here is exceptional. 2.0 out of 5 stars Not that hot
Man, I loved Black Uhuru and thought Michael Rose was better than Bob. Well, it seems he can't kick it without the rest of the Uhurus because this CD is weak. I tried to listen my way into it and I even brought it with on a month-long trip to Africa and kicked it in the car, but it didn't grow on me.

If you had to pin me down, I'd probably say this is my favorite reggae CD, leaving out Bob of course. Michael Rose has a voice you'll never forget, though it has matured and gotten huskier since his Black Uhuru days. And the songwriting here is exceptional. Every song sounds different and creates a mood that is indescribable with words. You just have to hear it! To say Michael Rose is "cool" is an understatement. From his hypnotic, irie wailing in Black Uhuru to this sparkling solo achievement, there seems no end to his ability to make those little hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Of course, being in the "mood" makes this CD all the better.

Peace, love, and I-nity.
