I had read other reviews that were more on the negative side regarding the looks and quality of these TV trays so was a little concerned. However, when I received them I found that the looks and quality were great and am very pleased with them! Only issue I have is my daughter (age 8) has trouble opening them and getting them set up correctly because the legs can pivot both ways.

The tray tables are fine, but I would like to comment of the service. My tray tables were inadvertently sent to some place in Ohio. When I described what happened to customer service, they took care of the problem immediately and I had my order in days. I know mistakes can be made, but I must congratulate Amazon on the speedy and efficient way they handled this error. Thank you.

I've had mine for 3 years now. I probably should have left a review a long time ago, but wanted to be sure they'd hold up.

Everyone said I paid way too much when I bought these, but in that time I've seen other people go through several sets of those cheap "disposable" tray tables they sell at the big box stores.

Just spend the money on these and you'll not be disappointed. Mine still look and function as well as the day they arrived at my house and everyone who visits says they are the nicest tray tables they've ever seen/used.

Also, I love the distressing on the pieces. It matches up well to my antiqued oak and antiqued cherry entertainment center and coffee table.

***UPDATE***
Finally finished remodeling my formal living room and noticed the antiqued cream color of these were available. Lucky me! My new room has this finish on the furniture. I can officially say that I own two sets of these. The BEST tray tables money can buy. If, after 3 years, I run back to buy another set - doesn't convince you...I don't know what will.

I ordered this TV tray set a little bit concerned with the rather negative reviews I've read. Considering that the other reviews on similar items were even worse I've decided to put my chips on this product. I live in the middle of nowhere, outside of city limits and my house is a loft type of building wich I decorated more on the contemporary /southwestern style. That said, I was so happy to find out that the set I've ordered has more of a rustic/distressed look and isn't plain black color (wich, I think, would look like office furniture). Assembly is a piece of cake and that is just for the rack. The tables are ready for you to hang it on it. Size is ideal and the five items are sturdy and well built. Sooo happy!

These are the best TV trays I have ever had. In the past, all I could find the the flimsy ones that fall apart very quickly and the paint comes off. These trays are very attractive and sturdy.

Just what I was looking for. Easy to assemble and I really like the finish.

Glad we spent the extra money and got these. They actually look classy. Work great and neatly sit in the holder when not in use and are not an eye sore.

The tables were sturdy and could have been put to good use. They are pictured in the item photo as solid black. They are not. They each have been "antiqued" with brown spots placed like a tic-tac-toe pattern,one on each slat and each table with exactly the same pattern. Anyone who wants an antiqued look realizes that it needs to look random. The brown spots were the size of a fist and made the tables certainly look different than pictured. They looked like a tag sale item, not a better quality item.

Had they been as pictured, they would have been fine.

I have had these tables for almost a year and they are wonderful. I gave 4 stars because one of the bars is coming out of the hole but that can easy be glued to stay in place. We must have went through so many sets trying to find a dark set that would not scratch. These are perfect.
