My kids love this animation DVD. The plot is pretty wild. Michel is the guardian fairy who lives in an island with a "tree of life" and other minor fairies that give all the good things to earth and sustain life. The bad guys (the Black Hammers) led by a wicked lady and three thugs under her show up, and then proceed to capture all these fairies and destroy the tree of life in the process. A girl who lands in this island by accident teams up with Michel to rescue the fairies. The bad guys figure out how to turn these fairies into monsters, but do not worry. Michel and the girl know how to reverse-morph them into their original fairy form. Hopefully, they will recover all the fairies and bring the tree of life back to life. Along the way, the movie raises questions as to what the important stuffs in life are. Viewers have the option of watching the DVD with English sound or with Korean sound with English subtitles. As it turns out, I was trying to teach the kids Korean and used Korean sound and English subtitles. An instant hit! There are 26 episodes, each with 30 minute duration. I bought the DVD for less than $15.00 but I think it would be a good deal even at triple that price considering all the fun the kids have.
