This is a unique book on Michelangelo and his life. It should appeal to people from 12 to 100. Travelers to Italy, art students, people interested in art, biography, and history, and fans of Michelangelo will all enjoy this easy-to-read description of the Master's life and times in Tuscany and Rome. Michelangeo lived a long life of nearly 90 years and worked with seven popes in his art work. He left a legacy that still inspires people from all countries today as it has for the past 500 years. Michelangelo's art is timeless and Washington has done an admirable job in describing his work in a concise manner without going into too much detail and interpretation of the meaning in the piece of art.
