I've been craving a Michele diamond watch for many years now. I've always felt too guilty to spend money on such an extravagant item, especially when there are so many charities and people who could be helped with that amount of cash.

But, when the time arrived that it was going to be a gift, I could put my guilt aside and look for the best watch at the lowest price.

I began by looking on ebay. Some of the sellers do offer a two year warranty but many don't. I think it's very important to do your homework first.

Some ebay sellers would mention that the watch was new but there was no warranty. I'd hear comments like, "what would go wrong with it?" Well, it is an expensive item, even if you do buy it on Amazon or ebay. So, personally, I'd like to have as much coverage as I can.

I purchased my Michele Mini Urban Diamond watch with a black strap and I'll be purchasing additional straps in the future to mix it up a bit. It arrived in spotless condition, in the traditional Michele box, with a manual that will explain how to change the time and the straps. Please make sure to read the manual before you start changing the time or straps.

I love the larger numbers on the Urban and the Mini is the perfect size for my small wrists. I didn't want the heaviest watch but I also didn't want to get the smallest version. This one is perfect. The diamonds sparkle without looking ostentatious. I plan on wearing it everyday and night. With the wide variety of straps, you could easily dress it up.

Contrary to what I'd seen a few other reviewers write, Nordstrom would not agree to match a price I found on Amazon, WatchMaxx or any of the other companies I found online. Even if I'd been able to buy it from Nordstrom, I would have had to pay CA sales tax. Buyers may be looking for different things. $1000 is a significant amount of money to me and I wanted to get a good deal for my money. But, I also wanted to make sure I was purchasing it from someone who would stand behind the watch with a reasonable guarantee.

I feel really good about my decision to buy my own watch from Amazon. It's so pretty and I know I'll be happy with it for years to come! Thanks you Amazon!!!

I think I made a great choice. There is something very special about a good timepiece and the Michele Mini Urban fits all my criteria including having a clear, crisp face. The black numerals on the white background makes it extremely sharp and easy to read. The little sparkle of the diamond bezel add just enough elegance without too much attention. The watch seems to fit well enough, but it is a bit "top heavy" and has the tendency to swivel/turn on my wrist unless the strap it a its tightest setting. Definitely a "keeper" and the price was "right".
