Beautiful, versatile watch!, February 23, 2011

I highly recommend this watch. This is one of the best two-tone watch options I have seen. The gold and stainless are very well- integrated, and the overall result is very subtle; it is almost as though the two tones come off as one color rather than competing with each other. The diamonds around the face are very pretty and have a shimmery, antique appearance. The mother of pearl face adds interest, without being too iridescent. The numbers and markers on the face have exactly the right deco look. Overall, it is a slightly retro-feeling, romantic watch. It is also feminine and versatile--I have dressed it up and worn it casually, and I look forward to buying some leather straps for it. The length of the face almost spans the length of my wrist, which you can't quite tell from the picture. We also had to replace the battery right away, but the reason seems to be that it was a slightly older model and the watch might have been sitting for a while. But that was a minor nuisance for one of the best gifts I have received!
