Another 5 Stars for Michele!, January 11, 2011
This review is from: Michele Women's MWW06P000001 Deco Diamond Quartz Watch (Watch)
The Michele Deco Diamond Quartz watch is almost the same as the Michele Deco Diamond Dial Steel Bracelet except for guess what? The Diamond dial of course, as you may have already guessed from its name.
You might find a bit of a price drop from the other watch with the diamond dial, but not too much since the watch is almost exactly the same. I'll repeat the product features below without any other differences at all except for the links which of course are for a Michele Deco Quartz watch rather than with the Diamond Dial. Again, just as classy and beautiful with black hour markers as opposed to diamond markers.

Scratch Resistant Sapphire
After I first purchased my watch, I was so worried that I had scratched the case that I immediately texted a friend of mine who is an expert on watches. I said, "I think I scratched my watch!" He reassured me that the Sapphire window of the watch is resistant to scratches. Whew! That made me feel better. Even a busy mom or woman that works hard at what she does is able to wear the watch without being overly conscious and worried about keeping the Michele from scratching.
Display Type
The analog display on the Michele Deco Watch is called Deco for a reason. It seems to resemble Art Deco Furniture. It is actually my favorite design of the Michele watches. There are three round dials in the display (one being the day of the week) adding to the deco feel. 12 Diamonds actually point out the time by serving as hour markers in the display.
Case Material
The case material of the Michele is stainless steel and all of the Michele watches, especially the Deco, use enough stainless steel to make the case itself, not just the band, look really solid and stand out from all the rest. In this case, the case thickness is 11 millimeters and the case diameter is 33 millimeters. When I measured out 33 millimeters on my wrist, I saw that it is pretty big without being overpowering. On a smaller woman, it might feel a little bit big so one thing you may want to think about is making sure the band fits nicely and not too loose to ensure the case doesn't move around a lot. But if you ask me, I'd want a bigger watch than a smaller one, especially with all those diamonds sparkling, it'd be a shame to waste those 108 diamonds on a smaller case.
Band Material
You have several options with the band material for your Michele Women's MWW06P000001 Deco Diamond Quartz Watch. If you can find it sold together, like in the link above, I would grab it because normally Michele's are priced without their bands, the stainless steel bracelet being the most expensive band choice.
There's also leather bands to choose from in different colors, with patent black, white, and red being an option.
Diamonds
There's 108 diamonds in the watch. Wow! Hello?? `Nuff Said. No really, that's why I love the watch so much. It is a beautiful piece of jewelry on its own.
I was recently visiting a consignment shop and the woman that waited on me behind the counter was a woman that I thought looked kind of "plain". She was just wearing jeans and some kind of Tshirt that was non-descript. But when she gave me my receipt to sign, I noticed that she was wearing a Michele watch and I was instantly impressed by how simple her outfit was yet how much more was added to her whole persona from the Michele.
Other features
Depending on where you purchase your watch, there will always be a warranty. I know Amazon.com gives a 2 year warranty right up front so if anything should happen to your watch, which I highly doubt, Amazon will cover it.
The watch is also water resistant up to 165 feet so don't go deep sea diving with it but I think you're safe with it in the shower for a couple of minutes if you forget from time to time to remove it.
It's like any other piece of jewelry, how do you take care of your other jewelry?
But since the Michele Women's MWW06P000001 Deco Diamond Quartz Watch
are Swiss made, most likely the perfection and precision of Swiss made watches will keep you save whether or not you bang it on the table :)
