A comprehensive and easily understandable means to navigate the byways and highways of the UK and Ireland. This is our second one, having torn apart our previous one as we have taken our trips to this part of the world. The best maps out there for us.

It's a stay flat spiral bound map book. Has everything
including city maps. I was sceptical after trying a France Michelin map, but this seems OK.
I much prefer this to a folding map, or a set of folding maps.

I drove in France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany several times using TomTom 720 as critical companion. But, in each trip, I found Michelin Atlas an important and useful backup (see my reviews on Michelin Italy and Michelin Germany). I am going to drive in UK in the coming December, so I bought this as backup. It is printed in usual superb Michelin quality. I expect it will prove its usefulness during the upcoming trip.
