Durability of Michelin Dynamic 700x28 & 700x32 tire,

This review is from: Michelin Dynamic (Sports)
Purchased 6 of these, 4 for two road bikes with 2 for spares. After less than 500 miles on relatively smooth surfaced roads the 700x32 rear tire on my Trek hybrid developed a bulge in the tread area about 1/4" high and 3" long with a very noticeable distortion in the tread. Obviously it thumped quite badly which is how I discovered it. After changing it I could not find any separation of the casing inside the tire, just a weak area that you could push out easily with your finger. These tires are serviced correctly prior to each ride with the maximum rated psi (87). Could just be an isolated incident but now I am questioning the safety of these as I ride 100% by myself out in rural areas.

These tires are great. I've put about 450-500 miles on them and so far they're wearing far less than the stock Kendas that came on my bike.
They handle surprisingly well on wet roads and on Chicago's notoriously treacherous steel grate surfaced bridges, even at a 25cm tire width. It took 3 months of riding to get my first flat, which is awesome. However, I then got 2 flats (front and rear) in the same day. Front due to 2-3 glass shards completely embedded in the rubber, which I'm pretty diligent about checking for so they couldn't have taken long to work their way in, and the rear due to the rubber actually being split/cut perpendicular to the circumference of the tire. The front is fine to keep riding, but given the depth of the split of the rear, it had to be replaced.

I have replaced 6 tubes in 3 months. These tires puncture very easily. I would not buy these tires ever again. GARBAGE
