5.0 out of 5 stars Brown on Green

This guide has the expected historical and practical discussion of the areas in question plus it unexpectedly has some brief discussions of local foods and restaurants of the areas. Since I am still in the planning stage for this trip, my review doesn't come from personal...

This guide has the expected historical and practical discussion of the areas in question plus it unexpectedly has some brief discussions of local foods and restaurants of the areas. Since I am still in the planning stage for this trip, my review doesn't come from personal judgement of the Guide's coverage of the material it professes to cover but I remain happy with it.

It's organized in alphabetical order, rather than by region. This means that areas that areas in the very far north might appear on an adjacent pages to a town on the US border. You need to know the place names in your area and skip through the entire book to find the areas relevant to your itinerary.
